Huawei has officially launched the Nova Flip S in China, marking a significant step in making foldable smartphones more accessible. As the successor to the original Nova Flip, the new device carries forward Huawei’s premium design DNA but with a notable reduction in price, making it the company’s most affordable foldable yet.
The Huawei Nova Flip S retains the familiar clamshell form factor of its predecessor, offering the same 6.9mm thickness and 195-gram lightweight build. Huawei has introduced two new shades — Sky Blue and Feather Sand Black, joining the previous lineup of New Green, Zero White, Sakura Pink, and Star Black.

While Huawei has not yet revealed the chipset powering the Nova Flip S, it runs on HarmonyOS 5.1, promising a seamless and fluid user experience. Powering the foldable is a 4,400mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups.
The phone also features side-mounted fingerprint recognition for security and a life waterproof rating, protecting it against everyday splashes and minor spills.
