Motorola has expanded its Edge 60 lineup with the launch of the Edge 60 Neo, a smartphone that blends premium design, durability, and solid performance at a price that undercuts most rivals. Positioned as the most budget-friendly option in the Edge 60 family, the Neo brings a compact form factor without compromising on modern features.
The Edge 60 Neo steps away from the oversized displays dominating the market by featuring a 6.4-inch pOLED screen. While smaller than the standard 6.7-inch panels on most flagships, this size appeals to users who prefer a hand-friendly design. The display supports 1.5K resolution, 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 3000 nits, making it versatile for both outdoor and indoor use. Protection is ensured with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, adding durability to the vibrant panel.
Motorola has doubled down on toughness with the Edge 60 Neo. Its back panel uses vegan leather, which feels premium while adding grip, and the device boasts MIL-STD 810H certification for military-grade durability. On top of that, the IP68 and IP69 ratings ensure resistance against dust, splashes, and even immersion in water—features that are rarely seen at this price point.
At the heart of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This configuration is built to handle multitasking, gaming, and AI-driven tasks with ease. The smartphone runs on Android 15 out of the box, offering the latest software features and optimizations.
The camera system on the Edge 60 Neo is versatile, aiming to appeal to photography enthusiasts. The triple rear setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT700C primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Selfie lovers get a 32MP front shooter, ideal for high-quality selfies and crisp video calls.
Keeping everything running is a 5,000mAh battery, which is more than enough to last a full day of heavy use. Motorola includes 68W fast wired charging that can quickly refuel the device, along with 15W wireless charging, giving users flexibility in how they power up.
Despite its durability, the phone remains sleek at just 8.09mm thickness and a feather-light 175 grams. It also packs extras like Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for a complete flagship-lite experience.
Motorola has partnered with PANTONE once again to bring stylish finishes, offering the Neo in Latte, Frostbite, Poinciana, and Grisaille. Pricing begins at 399 Euros for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, with the rollout starting in Europe before expanding globally.
The Motorola Edge 60 Neo positions itself as a slim, stylish, and durable smartphone that doesn’t compromise on performance. With its rugged build, compact display, capable cameras, and affordable price tag, it is set to become a strong contender in the mid-range segment for users who want premium touches without paying flagship prices.
