Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest foldable flagship, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, in India — and excitement is building fast. After its global debut last month alongside the standard Razr 60, the Razr 60 Ultra has caught the attention of tech enthusiasts worldwide. With cutting-edge specifications, a sleek foldable design, and Snapdragon’s latest 8 Elite chipset, the Razr 60 Ultra marks a bold step forward for Motorola in the premium smartphone space.
Motorola has officially confirmed that the Razr 60 Ultra will launch in India on May 13th at 12 PM IST. The smartphone will be available through Amazon India and Motorola’s official website, where microsites are already live, teasing the phone's powerful specs and stylish design.
The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra carries forward the elegant foldable design the Razr series is known for, with refined dimensions and premium materials. When unfolded, the phone measures 171.5 x 74 x 7.2 mm, and when folded, it compacts down to 88.1 x 74 x 15.7 mm, weighing in at just 199 grams. The build includes a ceramic front when folded, an eco-leather back, and an aluminum frame complemented by a stainless steel hinge, giving it a sophisticated yet durable feel. The phone is IP48-rated, meaning it's protected from dust particles and can withstand submersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It comes in a vibrant palette of Pantone-certified shades such as Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Cabaret, catering to style-conscious users.
The Razr 60 Ultra features a stunning 7.0-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with a silky-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, and a resolution of 1224 x 2912 pixels. Its peak brightness hits an impressive 4500 nits, ensuring visibility even under direct sunlight. Complementing the main screen is a 4-inch external LTPO AMOLED display, also with 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. This secondary screen offers a resolution of 1272 x 1080 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic for enhanced durability.
Under the hood, the Razr 60 Ultra runs Android 15 and is powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (3nm). It features an octa-core CPU built on the latest Oryon V2 Phoenix architecture, paired with an Adreno 830 GPU for top-tier graphics performance. The device is available in configurations of 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with either 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. However, there's no microSD card support, so storage isn't expandable.
For photography, the Razr 60 Ultra is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide lens offering a 122-degree field of view. The camera supports advanced features like 8K video recording, Dolby Vision, HDR, and even Pantone Skin Tone validation for more accurate and natural color rendering. On the front, it boasts a 50MP selfie camera that can shoot up to 4K at 60fps, making it ideal for vloggers and video calls alike.
Motorola has equipped the Razr 60 Ultra with stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos for an immersive sound experience. It also features Snapdragon Sound support for high-definition wireless audio. Connectivity is future-ready with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C with OTG support. While there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack, the inclusion of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner enhances usability and security.
Powering all these premium features is a 4700mAh battery, supported by 68W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging — perfect for powering up on the go or charging accessories like earbuds.
In benchmark testing, the Razr 60 Ultra impresses with an AnTuTu score of 1,831,189 (v10), Geekbench score of 6796 (v6), and 3DMark Wild Life Extreme score of 5938. In real-world usage, it holds strong with an active usage score of 15 hours and 10 minutes, making it a reliable powerhouse for day-long use.
While the official price is yet to be confirmed, industry experts suggest the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra will be priced around ₹1,10,000. This aligns with its global pricing of $1,300, which roughly converts to ₹1,11,000. For context, last year’s Razr 50 Ultra launched at ₹99,999 in India. The Razr 60 Ultra will be available in a single variant — 16GB RAM + 512GB storage.
With premium build quality, an ultra-smooth foldable AMOLED display, the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and top-tier cameras, the Razr 60 Ultra is poised to be one of the most powerful foldables in India. Motorola’s focus on combining style with substance may finally give it a stronger foothold in the premium segment, especially among foldable enthusiasts.
All eyes are now on the May 13th launch event, where Motorola is expected to unveil detailed offers and availability.
