Realme is set to expand its Realme 14 series with a brand-new addition, the Realme 14 5G. After surfacing in various certification listings and leaks, the device has now been officially confirmed by Realme, revealing key details about its processor and battery capacity. Let’s take a closer look at what this smartphone brings to the table.
The Realme 14 5G adopts a design inspired by the upcoming Realme P3 5G, which is set to launch in India next week. The phone’s “Mecha Design”, as Realme describes it, features a sleek silver finish, flat edges, and a distinctive yellow-accented power button. On the back, the device sports a dual-camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor.
In terms of display, while Realme hasn’t provided complete details, leaks suggest it will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and an immersive experience.
Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 14 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, making it the first smartphone in the world to feature this processor. According to the company, the chipset delivers impressive performance, scoring over 810,000 points on AnTuTu.
Powering the device is a massive 6,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting endurance. Whether you’re gaming, streaming, or browsing, the Realme 14 5G promises to keep up with your daily usage without frequent recharges.
The dual-camera system on the Realme 14 5G consists of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. Meanwhile, the front camera is rumored to be a 16MP shooter, making it suitable for selfies and video calls.
Beyond the camera, leaked details indicate that the Realme 14 5G could include IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner for added security and convenience.
Speculation is mounting that the Realme 14 5G may be a rebranded Realme Neo 7x 5G, as both devices share the same model number (RMX5071). If true, this would mean the Realme 14 5G inherits all the Neo 7x’s features, making it a competitive choice in the mid-range segment.
Realme has yet to confirm the official launch date for the Realme 14 5G, but industry rumors suggest it could debut later this month. With its powerful chipset, large battery, and modern design, the Realme 14 5G is shaping up to be a solid addition to the lineup.
