Xiaomi has officially unveiled the REDMI Book Pro 16 (2025) and REDMI Book Pro 14 (2025) in China, alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone. The latest laptops come equipped with Intel’s second-generation Core Ultra processors, enhanced AI capabilities, and high-refresh-rate displays, making them compelling options for professionals and gamers alike.

The REDMI Book Pro 16 boasts a sleek metal body, measuring 15.9mm in thickness and weighing 1.88kg. Its 3.1K LCD display (3072×1920) supports a 165Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and VESA HDR 400 certification. The Delta E color accuracy rating of ~0.33 ensures precise color representation, making it an excellent choice for creative professionals.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 225H (14 cores, 4.9GHz boost) or Core Ultra 7 255H (16 cores, 5.1GHz boost). Performance sees a 21.6% single-core boost and a 29.5% multi-core improvement over its predecessor. The 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD provide ample memory and storage, with an extra M.2 slot for expansion.
A major highlight is its 99Wh battery, offering up to 30 hours of battery life. The included 140W GaN USB-C charger enables a 54% charge in 30 minutes and supports 120W phone charging.
The Hurricane Cooling system includes dual 12V fans, three heat pipes, and a 200-blade fan design, improving thermal conductivity by 63.4% over last year’s model.

The REDMI Book Pro 14 shares the same 15.9mm thickness but is lighter at 1.45kg. It features a 2.8K (2880×1800) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, 100% sRGB color coverage, and VESA HDR 400 certification.
Like the Pro 16, the Pro 14 is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H or Ultra 7 255H, with options for 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X RAM. Performance improvements include an 18.5% single-core and 28.2% multi-core boost over the previous model. Storage is 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with an additional M.2 slot for expansion.
The 80Wh battery delivers up to 31 hours of battery life, while the 100W GaN adapter charges it to 51% in just 30 minutes and supports 55W phone charging.
Its cooling setup includes dual 12V fans and two heat pipes, enabling it to support up to 70W sustained performance.
Both laptops run Windows 11 (Chinese version) and come with Xiaomi’s AIPC engine, which enhances AI computing power to 96 TOPS. This results in over 200% improvement in large model processing and a 120% boost in local image processing tasks.
