The camera housing on the Vivo X90 Pro has grown in size and is now fully spherical. There is only one colour option for the back panel—at least not on the international markets—and it is wrapped in black vegan leather.

The Vivo X90 Pro is equipped with MediaTek's top SoC, the Dimensity 9200, which has an 11-core GPU, current CPU cores, including X3 cores, and more than enough RAM and storage. Also, there is a sizable heatsink, perhaps one of the biggest ever included in a phone, which should contribute to better sustained performance.

This new Vivo X90 Pro's charging skills are equally astounding; it supports both 50W and 120W rapid wired charging, which can charge a device to 50% of its capacity in just 8 minutes, according to official statistics.

The Vivo X90 Pro boasts an outstanding equipment on its back, continuing the X series' tradition of emphasising cameras. The primary camera has a 50MP resolution and a 1" sensor; it has the same Sony IMX 979 sensor as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. A 50MP 2x telephoto camera is also included, followed by a 12MP ultrawide camera with autofocus. Zeiss optics and the most recent vivo X2 image processing chip serve as the foundation of the entire imaging system.

We discussed the shuffling features, and the display is one of those features that is completely unpredictable. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display on the vivo X90 Pro this year has a 1260p resolution, 10-bit colour depth, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification. The X80 Pro had a 1440p display for comparison, whereas the X70 Pro had a 1080p OLED that was less powerful.

In terms of contemporary features, the vivo X90 Pro doesn't lack anything. The phone has a flagship screen, camera, chipset, and charging technology. It is IP68-rated and designed for international markets. Perhaps a little longer telephoto lens, like 2.5x or 3x, would have been preferable, but given that Vivo is pushing this camera as a portrait camera, a 50mm lens is about right.
