The BolaButty C27C Bluetooth Speaker is designed for people who want a compact wireless speaker that can be used at home, outdoors, or during parties without spending a lot of money. It combines 20W HD sound, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, colorful lighting effects, TWS pairing and a claimed battery life of up to 24 hours.
With its portable design and IPX5 water-resistant construction, the C27C is aimed at users who want to take their music to the beach, camping trips, poolside gatherings or simply move the speaker around the house. At $23.98 in the US, it also sits in the affordable Bluetooth speaker category.
But specifications only tell part of the story. Here is a closer look at what the BolaButty C27C offers and how it performs as an everyday portable speaker.
BolaButty C27C Bluetooth Speaker Features
20W HD Sound With Two Drivers
The C27C features a 20W audio system with two drivers designed to produce powerful and balanced sound. The speaker is intended for music, movies and gaming, while its sound output should be sufficient for everyday listening and small gatherings.
The dual-driver setup also supports a more immersive listening experience than a basic single-driver portable speaker. For larger spaces or when more separation is desired, two C27C speakers can be paired using the TWS feature to create a stereo setup.
Bluetooth 5.3 Connectivity
Bluetooth 5.3 provides the wireless connection between the speaker and compatible devices. BolaButty claims a wireless range of up to 100 feet, although the actual range can vary depending on walls, interference and the connected device.
One of the more useful aspects of the speaker is its quick connection. Based on the provided user experience, the C27C connects quickly to the device being used and maintains the connection without noticeable problems.
For everyday use, this makes the speaker convenient because there is less need to repeatedly deal with pairing or connection issues.
Up to 24 Hours of Battery Life
Battery life is one of the strongest features of the C27C on paper. BolaButty claims up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge when the speaker is used at 50% volume with the lights turned off.
Actual battery life will naturally depend on volume, music content, lighting and other usage conditions. Using the colorful light effects or listening at higher volume can reduce the runtime.
The ability to turn the lights off is particularly useful when battery life is more important than the visual effects.
Colorful Music-Syncing Lights
The C27C is not just an audio device. It also includes multicolor lighting effects designed to add a visual element to parties and gatherings.
The lights can react to the music and can be controlled using the dedicated Light button. Users can turn the effects on or off depending on the situation.
For a party or casual gathering, the lighting can make the speaker feel more entertaining. At night or during outdoor use, the effects can also add some atmosphere without requiring a separate lighting system.
IPX5 Water Resistance
The speaker carries an IPX5 rating, which provides protection against water splashes and similar exposure. This makes it more suitable for outdoor environments than a speaker without any water-resistance rating.
It can be useful around a pool, at the beach, while camping or during outdoor gatherings. However, IPX5 does not mean the speaker is waterproof for submersion, so it should not be deliberately placed underwater.
TWS Stereo Pairing
TWS, or True Wireless Stereo, allows two compatible C27C speakers to be connected together. This can increase the overall sound coverage and create a stereo listening experience.
For someone who already owns two units or wants to purchase a second speaker later, this is a useful feature.
Hands-Free Calls and AUX Support
The built-in microphone allows the speaker to be used for hands-free phone calls. This adds some versatility beyond music playback.
There is also an AUX input for connecting compatible devices through a wired connection. The AUX cable is not included in the package, so users who want to use this option may need to purchase one separately.
Compact and Portable Design
The C27C measures 7.87 x 2.76 x 2.81 inches and weighs approximately 14.1 ounces (1.28 lb). Its relatively compact body makes it easy to carry from one room to another or take along on outdoor trips.
The package includes the speaker, a Type-C charging cable and a quick-start guide. BolaButty also mentions lifetime technical support.
BolaButty C27C Bluetooth Speaker Price in the US
The BolaButty C27C Bluetooth Speaker is priced at $23.98 in the US and is available through Amazon.
At this price, the speaker targets buyers looking for an affordable portable Bluetooth speaker with features such as 20W output, Bluetooth 5.3, TWS pairing, lighting effects, IPX5 water resistance and extended battery life.
BolaButty C27C Bluetooth Speaker Review
The BolaButty C27C makes a strong first impression by offering a combination of features that are not always found together at this price. Its compact design makes it easy to carry, while the 20W output gives it enough capability for everyday music listening and casual gatherings.
The sound is another important part of the experience. The provided user feedback describes the speaker as sounding great, with the audio quality being one of its standout characteristics. The two-driver configuration is intended to provide balanced sound with reduced distortion, making it suitable for different types of content.
Connectivity is another area where the C27C performs well based on the supplied experience. The speaker reportedly connects quickly to the device in use and stays connected without issues. That kind of reliability is particularly important for a portable speaker because frequent disconnections can quickly become frustrating.
Battery life is also a major attraction. The claimed 24-hour runtime is based on specific conditions—50% volume and the lights turned off—so users should not expect the same result under every type of use. Nevertheless, the ability to get extended playback from a compact speaker makes it practical for trips, outdoor activities and long listening sessions.
The IPX5 rating adds another layer of convenience. While it does not make the C27C suitable for underwater use, protection from water splashes makes it more comfortable to use outdoors.
The multicolor lighting is an extra feature rather than a necessity, but it can make the speaker more entertaining at parties. Users who prefer longer battery life can simply turn the lights off.
Overall, the C27C focuses on practical features rather than trying to compete with premium speakers. It offers good portability, wireless connectivity, lighting, water resistance and long claimed battery life in a relatively inexpensive package.
