Honor seems to be getting ready for the next phones in its Win series. The Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT have reportedly received certification in China, according to Digital Chat Station, who shared the information on Weibo.
The certification is also said to reveal their charging speeds. The Win 2 will reportedly support 100W wired charging, while the Win 2 RT is expected to go up to 90W. The latter is a little surprising because the original Win RT came with 100W charging. So, on paper at least, the new RT model could charge a bit slower than the phone it replaces.

Win 2 Could Have a Huge Battery
The Win 2 is expected to be the more interesting phone of the two. Digital Chat Station claims it will combine Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor with a battery of more than 10,000mAh.
That is a pretty unusual combination for a smartphone. Most phones with a flagship processor don’t come with a battery this large. Honor is also said to be putting a built-in cooling fan inside the Win 2. The fan should help deal with heat when the phone is being pushed hard, especially during long gaming sessions.
The same leak mentions a display with “2K” resolution and a very high refresh rate. Honor hasn’t confirmed these details yet, though, so they should be taken as rumors for now.
6.89-Inch OLED Screen Expected
Some of the Win 2’s display details have already appeared in earlier reports. The phone is rumored to have a 6.89-inch OLED screen with a 185Hz refresh rate.
A screen running at 185Hz is clearly aimed at users who care about smooth motion, particularly gamers. The phone is also expected to use an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display.
There is still no official word on other display specifications, such as peak brightness or the exact resolution. Those details may be shared when Honor officially introduces the phone.
What About the Win 2 RT?
The Win 2 RT will reportedly use a different processor. Previous rumors point to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
It’s charging speed is also expected to be slightly lower at 90W. As mentioned earlier, that’s actually below the 100W charging offered by the first-generation Win RT.
Not much else is known about the Win 2 RT at this point. Honor has yet to reveal details about its screen, battery, cameras or other hardware.
Launch Could Happen Earlier
Honor launched the original Win and Win RT in December last year. The company hasn’t announced when the new models will arrive, but the latest certification news suggests that the launch may not be too far away.
There has also been a lot of activity around new smartphone launches in China this year. Because of that, the Win 2 series could appear earlier than the previous generation, although Honor hasn’t confirmed a date.
For now, the Win 2 is the phone getting most of the attention. A 10,000mAh-plus battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, built-in fan and a 185Hz OLED display would give it a rather unusual hardware setup.
The Win 2 RT looks set to be the simpler option, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 90W charging. We should get a much clearer picture once Honor officially announces both phones.
