Huawei Pura X Max 5G

The Huawei Pura X Max is a premium foldable smartphone that combines a large tablet-like display with a compact cover screen. Announced on April 20, 2026, and released on May 18, it features a 7.7-inch LTPO2 OLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR Vivid support, and a sharp 1828 × 2584 resolution. The outer 5.4-inch OLED display also supports 120Hz for a smooth experience when the phone is folded.

Under the hood, the Pura X Max is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 9030 Pro chipset and runs HarmonyOS 6.1. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, while the camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 12.5MP ultrawide lens. Both the inner and cover displays also have dedicated 8MP selfie cameras.

The phone packs a 5,300mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It also offers stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, an infrared port, USB-C 3.1 with DisplayPort, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. With IP58/IP59 protection and stylus support, the Huawei Pura X Max is designed as a feature-packed foldable, with an expected India starting price of ₹1,49,990.
