At IFA 2025, Acer unveiled the Nitro V 16 series, introducing two new models—the Nitro V 16 (ANV16-72) and the Nitro V 16S (ANV16S-71). Designed for gamers and creators, these laptops promise powerful performance, AI-driven features, and sleek portability, targeting users who want a balance of speed, visuals, and efficiency.
The Nitro V 16 lineup is powered by up to an Intel Core 9 270H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. The new RTX 50 Series is built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, delivering support for DLSS 4, neural rendering, and NVIDIA Studio tools, making it suitable for both gaming and creative workloads.

To enhance AI experiences, the laptops also integrate NVIDIA NIM microservices for accelerated workflows, along with Intel Application Optimization, which intelligently manages system resources to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
Users can choose between display configurations that include a 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) panel with 100% sRGB coverage, a 180 Hz refresh rate, and a 3 ms response time. A WUXGA option is also available for those who prefer different resolutions. These panels are designed to deliver fluid motion and crisp visuals, making them well-suited for competitive gaming and multimedia tasks.
To keep performance consistent during intense sessions, the Nitro V 16 employs a dual-fan cooling system with quad-intake and quad-exhaust vents. Memory options go up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (5600 MT/s), while storage can be configured with up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, ensuring ample speed and capacity.
The Nitro V 16 series includes a broad set of connectivity options such as Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB ports, microSD slot, and RJ-45 Ethernet. Both models come with Windows 11 Home, a MUX switch, Intel Killer networking, and NitroSense v5.0 for cooling and system control.

The Nitro V 16S features the same CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and display options as the Nitro V 16 but stands out with its thinner 19.9 mm chassis and lighter 2.1 kg weight. It also adds a 4-zone RGB keyboard and DTS:X Ultra audio, catering to gamers who value style and immersive sound in a portable package.
