Honor is preparing to widen the global footprint of its flagship Magic 8 series, moving beyond its limited release in Malaysia and select GCC markets. Europe appears to be the brand’s next major destination, and ahead of the official announcement, a fresh leak has shed light on the expected pricing of the Honor Magic 8 Pro. The leaked details suggest that Honor is positioning the Magic 8 Pro firmly in the ultra-premium smartphone segment for European consumers.
According to well-known tipster RODENT950 on X, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is expected to be priced between €1,199 and €1,299 in European markets. At this stage, it is unclear whether this price range reflects different storage configurations or regional variations across European countries.
If the leak proves accurate, the Magic 8 Pro will enter Europe with a starting price of €1,199, placing it directly in competition with other premium flagship smartphones from established brands.
In Malaysia, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is available in two configurations: one with 12GB of RAM paired with 512GB of internal storage, and another with 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage. While the European leak does not specify exact variants, it is likely that Honor will offer similar configurations in the region, potentially explaining the leaked pricing range.
The global version of the Honor Magic 8 Pro is equipped with a large 7,100mAh battery. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups despite the phone’s high power demands.
In comparison, the China-exclusive variant features a slightly larger 7,200mAh battery and faster 120W wired charging, while wireless charging remains unchanged at 80W. Aside from these battery and charging differences, both versions share identical specifications.
The smartphone features a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1,256 x 2,808 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Honor claims the panel can reach an impressive peak HDR brightness of up to 6,000 nits, making it suitable for outdoor visibility and high-quality media consumption.
On the software front, the Honor Magic 8 Pro runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, offering the latest features, performance optimizations, and security enhancements.
Powering the Honor Magic 8 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. This setup is designed to handle demanding tasks such as high-end gaming, video editing, and intensive multitasking with ease. The phone is available with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, catering to power users who require ample memory and storage space.
Photography is one of the standout aspects of the Honor Magic 8 Pro. The rear camera setup is led by a 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch sensor that supports 3.7x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. This is complemented by a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch sensor with CIPA 5.5 stabilization for improved image stability, along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera for expansive shots.
On the front, the device features a 50-megapixel selfie camera paired with a 3D depth sensor, enabling detailed selfies and advanced facial recognition features.
The Honor Magic 8 Pro carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, offering high-level protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets. Security is handled via an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, providing fast and reliable unlocking.
The phone includes a comprehensive set of sensors, such as an accelerometer, gravity sensor, infrared sensor, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. In terms of dimensions, it measures 161.15 x 75 x 8.32mm and weighs 219g, reflecting its solid build and large battery.
With a leaked European price starting at €1,199, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is shaping up to be a serious contender in the premium flagship market. Its combination of a powerful Snapdragon processor, ultra-bright OLED display, advanced camera hardware, massive battery, and top-tier durability suggests that Honor is aiming directly at the high-end segment. If priced competitively across regions and backed by strong availability, the Magic 8 Pro could attract users looking for a feature-rich alternative to mainstream flagship smartphones in Europe.
