Huawei has officially ended months of speculation by confirming that its next major smartphone lineup, the Mate 80 series, will be unveiled on November 25 at 2:30 PM China time. This launch event is expected to be one of Huawei’s biggest of the year, not only because it introduces the Mate 80 family but also because the company is preparing to launch its latest foldable device, the Mate X7.
The first teaser released for the event keeps things extremely minimal, revealing only two large circular outlines. While the image doesn’t show much, these circular hints closely resemble the Mate 80 series’ signature round camera module and a magnetic ring design on the device’s rear panel.
The Mate 80 lineup is shaping up to be one of Huawei’s most ambitious releases. According to reports, Huawei is preparing four models this year, giving customers more choices than ever before.
