itel has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the itel Super 26 Ultra, unveiled on September 5, 2025, and set to hit markets on September 15, 2025. Designed to combine style, durability, and performance at an affordable price point, this device aims to strengthen itel’s position in the budget-friendly smartphone segment.
The Super 26 Ultra comes with a sleek profile, measuring just 6.8mm in thickness, making it one of the slimmest devices in its category. Despite the slim frame, itel has added durability with IP65 certification, ensuring dust-tight protection and resistance against low-pressure water jets. Additionally, the smartphone is drop-resistant up to 1.5 meters, which adds an extra layer of toughness.
One of the biggest highlights of this phone is its 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 1B colors support. Offering a 144Hz refresh rate, PWM technology, and an impressive peak brightness of 4500 nits, the screen is designed to deliver ultra-smooth visuals and superior outdoor readability. To enhance protection, it comes equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T7300 (6nm) chipset, paired with an Octa-core CPU (2x Cortex-A78 at 2.2GHz & 6x Cortex-A55 at 2.0GHz) and Mali-G57 MP2 GPU. The Super 26 Ultra runs on Android 15 with itel OS 15, ensuring the latest features and optimizations.
For storage, users can choose between 128GB with 8GB RAM or 256GB with 8GB RAM, based on their requirements. The UFS storage support promises faster read/write speeds for seamless multitasking and app usage.
On the rear, the device packs a dual-camera system featuring a 50MP primary wide lens with f/1.6 aperture and an additional macro lens with auxiliary support. It offers modes like HDR, panorama, and can record videos up to 1440p@30fps.
For selfies and video calls, the smartphone offers a front-facing camera capable of recording 1440p and 1080p videos, making it a decent choice for content creators on a budget.
The smartphone houses a massive 6000mAh battery, which should easily last more than a day on regular usage. It supports 18W wired charging via USB Type-C 2.0, ensuring quick refueling.
The device covers essential connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC (region-dependent), infrared port, and USB Type-C. It also comes with an under-display optical fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
The itel Super 26 Ultra is expected to be priced from ₹9,999 in India, making it an attractive option for those seeking premium features like AMOLED 144Hz display, a large battery, and IP65 durability at a budget-friendly price point.
