At CES 2026, Motorola expanded its ecosystem of mobile accessories with two notable announcements: the Moto Pen Ultra and the Moto Tag 2. These devices are designed to enhance productivity for foldable phone users and simplify item tracking for everyday users.

The Moto Pen Ultra is engineered for Motorola’s foldable devices, including the Motorola Signature and Motorola Razr Fold, transforming them into versatile mobile workstations.
The pen features an ultra-fine tip for precise writing, signing, drawing, and text extraction. Its pressure sensitivity adjusts line thickness based on how hard the tip is pressed, while tilt detection allows for shading and texture effects. Palm rejection ensures a smooth input experience even when your hand rests on the display.
Motorola has equipped the pen with a suite of AI-driven features designed to streamline workflows:
A quick access toolbar provides tools such as brush selection, magnification, and workflow customization, enhancing usability for designers, artists, and productivity-focused users.
The Moto Pen Ultra comes with a carrying case that doubles as a battery backup, ensuring it can be used throughout the day without interruption. This accessory is aimed at professionals who require desktop-level precision while working on foldable or large-screen phones.
The Moto Pen Ultra is expected to launch in spring 2026 across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, with North American availability to follow.

The Moto Tag 2 is Motorola’s latest item tracker, leveraging Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Bluetooth Channel Sounding technology for highly accurate location tracking.
The tracker is compatible with devices running Android 9 Pie or higher.
The Moto Tag 2 boasts a battery life exceeding 500 days, and the battery is user-replaceable. The tracker carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for everyday use.
The Moto Tag 2 will be priced starting at €39 and will be available in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks. North American launch details will be shared later.
With the Moto Pen Ultra and Moto Tag 2, Motorola is reinforcing its commitment to enhancing mobile productivity and security. The Moto Pen Ultra empowers foldable phone users with desktop-like precision and AI-driven tools, while the Moto Tag 2 offers reliable, long-lasting item tracking. Both devices highlight Motorola’s focus on innovation and user convenience in its expanding ecosystem.
