OnePlus has officially confirmed the arrival of its next performance-driven smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 6T, set to launch later this month in China. Designed for users who want extreme speed, stable high-frame-rate gaming, and long battery life, the Ace 6T pushes the boundaries of what a mid-cycle “T” upgrade can offer. It will also be the first smartphone in the world to debut with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, strengthening OnePlus’ reputation for delivering cutting-edge hardware ahead of the competition.
The OnePlus Ace 6T is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. This combination should deliver sharp visuals, fluid animations, and a gaming experience that stays responsive even during intense action scenes.
According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, the Ace 6T will be the first device globally to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Co-developed with OnePlus, this new SoC reportedly integrates a special gaming kernel designed to ensure stable 165fps gameplay. Early reports suggest that the chip uses Oryon CPU cores built on TSMC’s 3nm process in a 2+6 cluster, paired with the Adreno 840 GPU for high-end graphics performance.
OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 6T will support 165Hz gameplay, with at least one mainstream mobile title — possibly Genshin Impact — already adapted for this high-frame-rate mode. The device is positioned as a performance powerhouse that can maintain stability under heavy gaming loads.
One of the biggest highlights is the massive 8,000mAh battery, a significant step up from typical flagship capacities. The phone is expected to support 100W fast charging, enabling users to power up quickly despite the large battery size. OnePlus claims the Ace 6T will offer battery endurance that exceeds expectations, even under resource-intensive use.
The Ace 6T is rumored to include a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, it may feature a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary lens. While not focused on photography as much as gaming, this setup should be sufficient for everyday content capture.
Reports suggest the device will offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, allowing fast read/write speeds ideal for gaming and multimedia. Additional hardware features may include:
These additions reinforce the Ace 6T as a well-rounded flagship contender.
The OnePlus Ace 6T is expected to launch in multiple color options, including Electric Purple, Flash Black, and Shadow Green. OnePlus will also reportedly introduce a special Genshin Impact edition for fans who want a more personalized look.
Li Jie stated that the “T” in Ace 6T represents OnePlus’ long-standing focus on peak performance, consistent across every generation. With its cutting-edge chipset, massive battery, and high-refresh-rate display, the Ace 6T is shaping up to be one of the most performance-oriented devices OnePlus has released to date.
