Oppo has officially confirmed the launch of two new smartphones, the Oppo A6v and Oppo A6i+, in China on February 2 at 10 AM local time. The announcement was made through Oppo’s official Weibo teasers, which also revealed that pre-orders for both devices will begin on the same day. With this launch, Oppo is expanding its A6 series lineup, targeting users who prefer either compact designs or immersive large-screen experiences.

The Oppo A6v is positioned as a compact and easy-to-handle smartphone with a flat display, making it suitable for users who value comfort and portability. Oppo has confirmed three color options for this model: Glacier Blue, Titanium Rock Purple, and Wild Green.
Glacier Blue features a soft, light-reflective finish that gives the phone a clean and modern appearance. Titanium Rock Purple offers a darker and calmer tone inspired by stone textures, appealing to users who prefer a more subtle and refined look. Wild Green draws inspiration from natural landscapes, delivering a fresh and earthy aesthetic.

The Oppo A6i+ is aimed at users who prefer a larger display and a more immersive viewing experience. Oppo highlights this model as being built around a big-screen design, making it ideal for media consumption, browsing, and daily multitasking.
The A6i+ will be available in Glacier White and Chestnut Brown. Glacier White has a bright and clean finish inspired by ice-like reflections, while Chestnut Brown features a darker tone with a soft matte texture that adds a premium feel to the device.
While Oppo has not yet revealed the full specifications of the A6v and A6i+, both devices are expected to sit alongside existing models in the A6 series, such as the Oppo A6L. The A6L currently occupies a higher position in the lineup, and its specifications provide a useful reference point for what users might expect from the upcoming launches.
The Oppo A6L features a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with Full HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device packs a large 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
In terms of cameras, the A6L includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera. Additional features include dual speakers, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 and IP69 ratings, military-grade durability, a slim 7.86mm profile, and a weight of around 204 grams.
Based on their positioning, the Oppo A6v and A6i+ are likely to offer a more balanced mix of performance, battery life, and design, catering to different user preferences within the mid-range segment. The A6v may focus on compact usability and stylish finishes, while the A6i+ is expected to emphasize display size and immersive viewing.
Oppo is expected to share complete hardware details, pricing, and availability information during the official launch event on February 2.
The confirmed launch of the Oppo A6v and Oppo A6i+ adds more variety to Oppo’s A-series lineup in China. With distinct design philosophies, fresh color options, and a clear focus on different user needs, both smartphones appear well-positioned to attract mid-range buyers. As pre-orders open on launch day, all eyes will be on Oppo to reveal how these new models compare in performance and value once the full specifications are officially announced.
