Oppo is gearing up for its next flagship release, and early leaks are already painting a detailed picture of what to expect from the Oppo Find X9 5G. While the company has yet to officially confirm the device, reliable sources, including tipster Yogesh Brar, suggest that the Find X9 could make its debut in October in China, launching alongside the Find X9 Pro. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming smartphone.
The Oppo Find X9 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED LTPO display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike the curved screens seen in earlier Find X series models, Oppo may switch to a flat design this time. The display will also integrate an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, ensuring fast and secure unlocking.
At the heart of the Find X9, reports suggest the use of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, which could also power the Pro variant. The device is likely to run Android 16 with Oppo’s ColorOS 16 interface, promising a refined and fluid user experience.
The Oppo Find X9 is rumored to house a triple rear camera setup:
On the front, a 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera is expected, ensuring sharp and vibrant portraits. Oppo is also likely to continue its Hasselblad partnership for image tuning while adding its own Lumo imaging technology for enhanced detail and color reproduction.
One of the standout features of the Find X9 could be its 7,025mAh battery, significantly larger than what most flagship smartphones currently offer. Charging is expected to be equally impressive, with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. This combination should deliver extended usage times with quick top-ups.
Beyond its core specs, the Find X9 may include dual stereo speakers, an upgraded x-axis linear motor, and IP68/69 water and dust resistance. Interestingly, leaks suggest Oppo might reintroduce the Plus key, a feature skipped in the Find X8 series.
The Oppo Find X9 series is expected to debut with two models—the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro—later this year. A third variant, the Find X9 Ultra, is rumored to arrive in mid-2026, further expanding the lineup.
Although official details are still pending, the Oppo Find X9 5G is shaping up to be a strong flagship contender with its massive battery, cutting-edge cameras, and flat-panel OLED design. If these leaks prove accurate, Oppo could be setting new benchmarks in both battery capacity and imaging technology in the flagship smartphone market.
