Poco appears to be expanding its popular M7 lineup yet again. After introducing the Poco M7 Plus 5G recently, the brand is now preparing to launch a new model aimed at users who still prefer or rely on 4G LTE connectivity. This addition will join the existing Poco M7 Pro 5G, unveiled in December 2024 with the Dimensity 7025-Ultra, and the Poco M7 5G, which debuted earlier this year powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.
According to early reports, the upcoming Poco M7 4G will be driven by the Snapdragon 685 processor, positioning it as a strong mid-range contender. The device is tipped to sport a 6.9-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution, a fluid 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 850 nits—making it suitable for both casual browsing and high-frame-rate gaming.
A key highlight will be its 7,000mAh battery, promising exceptional endurance. Charging speeds will reach 33W, though in some regions, such as Europe, the retail box might ship without a charger.
Buyers will reportedly have two variants to choose from:
The phone will also offer microSD card expansion for users needing extra space. Out of the box, it is expected to run HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, providing the latest software features and optimizations.
On the camera front, the Poco M7 4G will feature a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. Both lenses will support 1080p video recording, ensuring decent performance for everyday photography and video calls.
The handset will carry an IP64 rating for protection against dust and light splashes. Its physical dimensions are said to be 171.08 x 82.05 x 8.55 mm, with a weight of 224 grams, giving it a solid yet manageable form factor.
Just as the Poco M7 Plus 5G turned out to be a rebranded Redmi 15 5G, leaks suggest that the Poco M7 4G will essentially be a rebadged Redmi 15 4G. With leaked renders and almost all specifications already out in the open, the official launch is expected to happen later this month in select markets.
If priced competitively, the Poco M7 4G could attract a wide range of buyers who value a large screen, long battery life, and reliable 4G connectivity without breaking the bank.
