Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy F70e, expanding its popular F-series lineup in India. Designed for users who prioritise battery life, long-term software support, and reliable 5G performance, the Galaxy F70e brings a large 6000mAh battery, a 120Hz display, and Android 16 out of the box at an aggressive mid-range price. The phone is set to go on sale later this month, targeting users looking for a dependable everyday smartphone with Samsung’s trusted ecosystem.
The Samsung Galaxy F70e was announced on February 9, 2026, and will officially go on sale in India from February 17, 2026. The device will be available through Samsung’s official website, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores across the country.
Samsung is offering the Galaxy F70e in two colour options — Spotlight Blue and Limelight Green — giving the phone a fresh and youthful look.
The Galaxy F70e features a modern yet practical design with dimensions of 167.4 x 77.4 x 8.2mm and a weight of 199 grams. It comes with a glass front, a plastic frame, and a silicone polymer back with an eco-leather finish, offering better grip and durability.
The phone also carries an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust and light water splashes — a useful addition in this price segment. Samsung has included dual Nano-SIM support, catering to users who manage work and personal numbers on the same device.
On the front, the Samsung Galaxy F70e sports a 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the resolution is HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels), the high refresh rate ensures smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming performance.
The display delivers up to 650 nits of typical brightness and 800 nits in High Brightness Mode, making it usable even in outdoor conditions. With an 83.6% screen-to-body ratio, the phone offers an immersive viewing experience for videos and social media.
Powering the Galaxy F70e is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A76 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz, paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
One of the biggest highlights is software support. The Galaxy F70e runs Android 16 with One UI 8 out of the box and is promised up to six major Android updates, making it a future-ready device for long-term users.
The phone is available in two memory variants:
Storage can be expanded further using a microSD card, although it uses a shared SIM slot.
The Samsung Galaxy F70e features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor with PDAF. While Samsung hasn’t detailed the secondary sensor, the main camera supports LED flash and can record videos at 1080p at 30fps and 60fps.
On the front, the device includes an 8MP selfie camera with support for 1080p video recording at 30fps. The camera setup is designed for everyday photography, video calls, and casual content creation.
Battery life is one of the strongest selling points of the Galaxy F70e. The phone packs a massive 6000mAh battery, easily capable of lasting more than a day on a single charge, even with heavy usage.
Samsung supports 25W wired charging, ensuring faster top-ups compared to standard charging speeds in this segment.
The Galaxy F70e supports a wide range of connectivity options, including:
The phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, which many users still prefer. For security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with face unlock support. Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass.

Given its battery size, software support, and 5G connectivity, the pricing positions the Galaxy F70e as a strong contender in the mid-range segment.
The Samsung Galaxy F70e focuses on practicality rather than flashy specs. With a massive 6000mAh battery, smooth 120Hz display, reliable Dimensity chipset, and long-term Android update promise, it is well-suited for users who want a dependable smartphone for everyday use. While the HD+ resolution and basic camera setup may not appeal to everyone, the overall package makes the Galaxy F70e a solid choice for battery-focused and longevity-driven buyers in 2026.
