Expectations for the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24, and S24+ suggest similar charging speeds to their 2023 predecessors – 45W for the Ultra and Plus, 25W for the standard S23. Minor battery increases are anticipated for the smaller models.
Leakster Roland Quandt reports Samsung's development of new chargers, notably the wired Samsung Charger Duo 50W (model EP-T5020). Featuring two USB-C ports, it's likely to hit 45W with one port and 2x 25W with both in use. Additionally, a refresh of the Samsung 45W Power Adapter (EP-T4511) is in the works, resembling its predecessor but with unspecified modifications.
While the old T4510 supports USB PD 3.0 PDO and PPS, the updated version, USB PD 3.1, focusing on higher power ranges, may not significantly differ in features.
Importantly, these chargers are expected to be sold separately, continuing Samsung's trend of excluding chargers from phone packages, aligning with the industry's direction.
