Ulefone, known for its rugged smartphones and budget-friendly gadgets, is preparing to expand its tablet lineup. After introducing the Tab A10 Pro last November, the company is now set to launch two new devices — the Ulefone Tab A9 Pro and the Ulefone Tab A9 Pro Kids. We’ve received detailed specifications and images of both models, giving us a closer look at what’s coming.
The Ulefone Tab A9 Pro is powered by the Helio G91 SoC and runs on the latest Android 15. It comes equipped with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card, providing plenty of space for apps, media, and productivity needs.
The tablet is built around an 8.68-inch display with a 1,340 x 800 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 400 nits brightness. It also supports Widevine L1 certification, enabling 1080p streaming on supported platforms — a welcome addition for entertainment enthusiasts.
On the imaging front, the Tab A9 Pro sports an 8MP front camera (Samsung S5K4H8YX13) for video calls, while the rear setup includes a 12MP primary camera (Sony IMX363-AAQH5-C) paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens (Samsung 5K3M3SN03-FGX9) offering a 136.5° field of view.
A 5,040 mAh battery powers the device, supporting 18W charging via USB-C. Other notable features include LTE connectivity, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet is 7.9mm thick, weighs 326.5g, and will be available in Marble White and Galaxy Blue.
As its name suggests, the Ulefone Tab A9 Pro Kids is designed specifically for children. It carries the same core specifications as the regular Tab A9 Pro but adds features tailored for young users. The tablet comes with a colorful protective case, a dual-tip stylus, and a Child-Friendly Mode, though details on the mode’s exact functions remain under wraps.
In terms of build, the Tab A9 Pro Kids is also 7.9mm thick and weighs 326.2g without the case. With the protective case, the weight increases to 516g. It will be available in Pink and Blue color options, appealing to younger audiences.
Ulefone has confirmed the pricing for both models. The Ulefone Tab A9 Pro will be priced at $99.99 (approx. INR 8,730), while the Tab A9 Pro Kids will cost $109.99 (approx. INR 9,600). The brand has yet to announce the exact release date, but with details already revealed, the launch is expected soon.
