Vivo has announced the return of its Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards, now in its third edition, alongside the launch of the Vivo T4 Pro in India. The dual announcement highlights the brand’s commitment to both creative expression and cutting-edge technology, giving photography enthusiasts and smartphone buyers reasons to celebrate.
Building on the success of the 2024 edition, which saw more than 17,000 submissions nationwide, the Imagine Awards 2025 is set to inspire budding and professional photographers alike. With the theme centered around creativity, perspective, and storytelling, the contest shifts the focus from high-end gear to the power of imagination, making it accessible for everyone.
The competition is open to participants across India and will run from August 22 to November 30, 2025. Entrants can submit their work across six categories:
Submissions will be evaluated by a distinguished jury led by filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, alongside renowned photographers Vineet Vohra, Rakesh Pulapa, and Aamir Wani.
The Grand Jury Prize includes a cash award of ₹5,00,000, while winners in each category will receive a Vivo X200 Pro smartphone. Finalists will be invited to the Grand Finale in December, offering them not just recognition but also valuable mentorship opportunities.
Alongside the creative initiative, Vivo has officially started sales of its T4 Pro 5G smartphone in India. The device comes with a 6.77-inch 1.5K quad-curved AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5,000 nits, safeguarded by Schott Diamond Shield Glass.
