Vivo's globally available X100 series flagship lineup has launched, although specific market availability details are pending confirmation.
The Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 made their debut in China last November, sharing similar hardware features. Both models are powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset, exclusively equipped with performance cores.
They feature identical 6.78-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED displays, boasting a 1260p resolution and a dynamic 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. These displays can achieve an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits and offer 2,160Hz PWM dimming, ensuring optimal eye protection. Embedded within punch-hole cutouts are built-in fingerprint readers and 32MP front-facing cameras.
IP68-rated for dust and water protection, these smartphones run on Android 14 integrated with Vivo's Funtouch OS 14. They're available in two colors: Startrail Blue and Asteroid Black.
The X100 Pro stands out with its exceptional camera setup, featuring a 50MP 1-inch IMX989 primary camera and a distinctive floating periscope zoom camera. This innovative zoom system combines a 100mm f/2.57 lens and a 50MP 1/2.0-inch sensor, proudly holding the Zeiss APO certification, a first for mobile zoom technology. Additionally, it includes a 50MP 15mm ultrawide lens. The X100 Pro benefits from Vivo's latest 6nm V3 imaging chip.
Moreover, the X100 Pro houses a larger 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, ensuring swift and efficient power replenishment.
The Vivo X100 boasts a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports rapid 120W wired charging, ensuring extended usage without lengthy downtime. Its camera setup, while slightly altered, maintains versatility. The 23mm wide-angle lens features a high-resolution 50MP 1/1.49-inch sensor, while the 70mm f/2.6 zoom lens utilizes a 64MP 1/2.0-inch sensor for sharp, detailed shots. Additionally, the X100 retains the 15mm ultrawide lens for capturing expansive scenes. Notably, this model incorporates the earlier V2 imaging chip.
Available in two variants, the X100 offers configurations of 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and a larger 16GB RAM with 512GB storage option. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro presents a single configuration, providing 16GB RAM and 512GB storage capacity. Detailed pricing for these models will be released subsequently.
