Vivo has expanded its Y300 lineup with the introduction of the Vivo Y300 GT, a performance-centric mid-range smartphone that brings flagship-grade features to the table. Positioned alongside existing models like the Y300, Y300+, Y300i, Y300t, and Y300 Pro+, the Y300 GT sets itself apart with a powerful processor, high refresh rate display, and an industry-leading battery capacity.
At first glance, the 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display grabs immediate attention. Offering a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, the screen ensures fluid scrolling and a crisp viewing experience. With a pixel density of 452PPI, P3 wide color gamut, and full-range DC dimming, the display is not only vivid and immersive but also easy on the eyes. The SGS certification for low blue light and flicker reduction further emphasizes its eye-friendly nature, making it suitable for extended usage.

Powering the Vivo Y300 GT is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, built on TSMC’s advanced 4nm process. This 8-series processor delivers a compelling balance of performance and efficiency, making it ideal for gaming, multitasking, and media-heavy use. Paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the phone ensures fast app launches, seamless switching, and ample room for heavy files and media.
Perhaps the most striking feature of the Y300 GT is its 7,620mAh battery—the largest ever in a Vivo smartphone. Despite its massive capacity, the battery maintains a slim form factor, contributing to the phone’s sleek build. The device also supports 90W fast charging, allowing users to top up quickly without long waits. Vivo has also integrated a direct power supply mode, designed to reduce heat buildup and wear during power-intensive tasks such as extended gaming sessions or streaming.
For photography, the Y300 GT is equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, delivering clean, detailed shots. A 16MP front-facing camera, located in a centered punch-hole, handles selfies and video calls with clarity. On the software side, the phone runs Android 15, layered with OriginOS 5, which brings a fresh, intuitive user experience and plenty of customization options.
Vivo hasn’t cut corners when it comes to practical features either. The Y300 GT includes dual-frequency GPS, triple-frequency BeiDou, full-featured NFC, and an infrared blaster, making it a versatile tool for everyday use. The inclusion of a “wet hand touch” mode enhances usability outdoors or in challenging weather conditions. Moreover, the phone boasts military-grade durability, with high-resilience materials and enhanced waterproofing, ensuring long-term reliability.
The Vivo Y300 GT is currently available in China in three variants:
Color options include Storm Purple and Black Crystal, giving buyers stylish choices to match the phone’s performance edge. Interestingly, the Y300 GT shares its core DNA with the iQOO Z10 Turbo, though with subtle differences. While the Z10 Turbo uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the Y300 GT comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1, keeping costs slightly lower.
The Vivo Y300 GT is a compelling device that blurs the line between mid-range and flagship smartphones. With a monstrous battery, fast charging, stunning display, and reliable performance, it's a strong contender for users seeking value without compromising on features.
