Vivo has officially announced that it will launch the Vivo Y300t alongside the Y300 Pro+ on March 31 in China. The upcoming Y300t is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo T4x 5G, which was introduced in India earlier this month. With a powerful chipset, a high-capacity battery, and an attractive design, the Y300t aims to cater to users looking for a budget-friendly yet feature-rich smartphone.
The Vivo Y300t is set to pack a robust 6,500mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage without frequent recharges. It will also support 44W fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up their devices. At the heart of the Y300t is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, promising efficient performance and smooth multitasking.
The device will sport a sleek, modern look with a flat-frame design and a curved glass back, offering both aesthetic appeal and a comfortable grip. The Y300t is expected to feature a 6.72-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,050 nits. This combination ensures vibrant visuals and a seamless scrolling experience, making it ideal for gaming and media consumption.
For photography enthusiasts, the Vivo Y300t is likely to come equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear. This includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, ensuring detailed and sharp images. Additionally, an LED ring flash will enhance low-light photography. On the front, an 8-megapixel selfie camera is expected to capture clear and crisp selfies.
The Y300t will run on OriginOS 5, based on the latest Android 15. This ensures a smooth and user-friendly interface with advanced AI-powered enhancements. The device is also anticipated to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking, an IR blaster for remote control functionality, and IP64-rated protection, making it resistant to dust and splashes.
Alongside the Y300t, Vivo will also introduce the Y300 Pro+, which is expected to offer a premium experience. This model will boast a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, the Y300 Pro+ will offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will house a larger 7,300mAh battery with 90W fast charging, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. Reports suggest that the Y300 Pro+ might be launched as the Vivo Z10 in India on April 11.
With the launch of the Vivo Y300t, the company is expanding its Y-series lineup, offering a compelling mix of performance, battery life, and camera capabilities. Its anticipated specifications and aggressive pricing strategy are likely to make it a popular choice in the mid-range segment. More details regarding availability and pricing will be revealed at the official launch event on March 31. Stay tuned for further updates!
