Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y31 Pro on September 15, 2025, expanding its Y-series lineup with a powerful yet affordable 5G smartphone. Designed to strike the right balance between performance, display quality, and long-lasting battery life, the device is now available in India starting at ₹18,999.
The Vivo Y31 Pro brings a refreshed design and upgraded hardware compared to its predecessor. With 5G connectivity, a massive 6500 mAh battery, and a high-refresh-rate display, the phone is targeted at young professionals and gamers who need performance on the go without spending a premium.
Vivo Y31 Pro Features
The Y31 Pro comes with a sleek body measuring 165.7 x 76.3 x 8.1 mm and weighing around 204–208 grams. It features a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame, offering durability with style. The phone is IP64 dust-tight and water-resistant against splashes and is MIL-STD-810H compliant, making it slightly more rugged than typical mid-range devices.
One of its highlights is the 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 960Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort. With 1050 nits peak brightness (HBM) and a 1080 x 2408 resolution, users can expect vibrant visuals, smooth scrolling, and immersive multimedia experiences.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7300 (4nm), paired with an octa-core CPU (Cortex-A78 + Cortex-A55) and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. Coupled with 8GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, the phone ensures smooth multitasking and faster app loading. Two storage variants are available: 128GB and 256GB.
The dual rear camera system features a 50MP primary sensor with PDAF and a 2MP depth sensor, supported by a ring-LED flash. It supports 4K video recording at 30fps with gyro-EIS stabilization for smoother footage. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera handles social media snaps and 1080p video calls.
For entertainment, the Y31 Pro offers stereo speakers with Hi-Res 24-bit/192kHz audio, though it drops the 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, multiple satellite positioning systems, USB Type-C with OTG support, and an infrared port. However, NFC and FM Radio are absent.
Powering the device is a massive 6500 mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging, capable of reaching 50% in just 40 minutes. It also includes reverse wired charging, turning the phone into a mini power bank for accessories.
Running on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, the Y31 Pro brings a smooth, modern UI experience. Additional features include Circle to Search integration and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with other essential sensors.
The phone is available in Dreamy White and Mocha Brown color options.

The Vivo Y31 Pro delivers an excellent combination of performance, display quality, and battery life in the mid-range segment. With its Dimensity 7300 chipset, 120Hz display, and large 6500 mAh battery, it is a strong contender for users looking for a reliable all-rounder under ₹20,000. However, the lack of NFC and 3.5mm headphone jack may disappoint some buyers.
