MediaTek Dimensity 7400 and 7400X Launched – Specs & Features

MediaTek has officially introduced its latest mobile processors, the Dimensity 7400 and Dimensity 7400X, bringing significant enhancements in AI processing, gaming performance, and power efficiency. These new chipsets succeed the Dimensity 7300 series and cater to different device categories.

Dimensity 7400 and Dimensity 7400X: Specifications and Features

Both chipsets are built on TSMC’s 4nm process and feature an octa-core CPU configuration. This includes four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz for high performance and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz for power efficiency. The Mali-G615 MC2 GPU ensures smooth gaming and graphical performance.

MediaTek has upgraded the AI Processing Unit (APU 655), delivering a 15% performance improvement over the previous generation. The UltraSave 3.0+ power-saving technology enhances efficiency, reducing gaming power consumption by up to 36%. The chipsets also support Google Ultra HDR, ensuring richer color depth and improved dynamic range in photos and videos.
