Oppo has officially unveiled the Enco Air5 Pro in China, expanding its midrange true wireless earbuds lineup. The new model arrives as the successor to the Oppo Enco Air4 Pro released in 2024, bringing meaningful upgrades in connectivity, sound performance, noise cancellation, and battery life.
With enhanced audio technology and smart features, the Enco Air5 Pro aims to deliver a premium listening experience at an accessible price.
The Enco Air5 Pro features 12mm dynamic drivers engineered to produce deeper bass and improved sound clarity. Oppo claims the new drivers offer a 100% increase in amplitude, allowing the earbuds to move more air and deliver more powerful low-frequency response.
This enhancement should result in richer bass, clearer vocals, and a more immersive listening experience across music, videos, and games.
The earbuds also support Hi-Res audio streaming via the LHDC 5.0 codec, enabling high-quality wireless audio playback when paired with compatible devices.
Noise cancellation has been significantly improved in the Air5 Pro. The earbuds now offer active noise cancellation rated at up to 55dB, helping block out background noise such as traffic, crowd chatter, and office noise.
This upgrade makes the earbuds more effective in noisy environments like public transport or busy streets, allowing users to focus on their audio content without distractions.
One of the major upgrades is the inclusion of Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, which enhances connection stability, reduces latency, and improves power efficiency.
The earbuds also support dual device connectivity, allowing users to stay connected to two devices simultaneously. This makes switching between a smartphone and laptop seamless — ideal for work calls and entertainment.
Oppo has equipped the Enco Air5 Pro with 3D surround sound technology designed to create a more spatial and immersive listening experience.
A standout smart feature is on-device AI translation, which can assist users in understanding conversations across languages in real time. This addition enhances the earbuds’ usefulness beyond music and calls, especially for travel or business use.
Battery life sees a notable improvement with the new model. The earbuds can deliver up to 13 hours of playback in AAC mode with active noise cancellation turned off. When used with the charging case, total playback time extends up to 54 hours.
This extended battery performance makes the Enco Air5 Pro suitable for long travel days, extended work sessions, and continuous entertainment.
The Enco Air5 Pro earbuds carry an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. This ensures protection against sweat, light rain, and dust exposure, making them suitable for workouts, commuting, and outdoor use.
The earbuds maintain a sleek and modern design and will be available in black and white color options.
Pricing is set at CNY 330 (approximately $48), positioning them competitively in the midrange segment. Open sales in China are scheduled to begin on March 2.
The Oppo Enco Air5 Pro builds on its predecessor with meaningful upgrades in sound performance, connectivity, and smart features. With stronger bass, improved noise cancellation, extended battery life, and AI-powered capabilities, these earbuds deliver strong value in the midrange category.
For users seeking feature-rich wireless earbuds with modern connectivity and long-lasting performance, the Enco Air5 Pro stands out as a well-rounded and affordable option.
